Welcome to Colorado Iconoflage

I loved living in the Denver metro area and the people I got to know. Two of whom are Brian and Karla, the duo behind base5280 - a screen printing shop ran out of their garage in Thornton.

They hired me to create an engaging Iconoflage piece for their apparel in the 2019 Rocky Mountain Gift Show. If you aren't aware, you can easily find many Iconoflage-like designs utilizing the Colorado flag and filled with generic outdoor icons. Our goals were to incorporate illustrations that highlighted every corner of the state so any person who has lived or visited Colorado and not use the CO flag.

We chose to use the "Welcome to Colorful Colorado" sign, which you will see at the border as you drive into the state. It also had plenty of space for different icons.

I'm proud to say I have shared this piece with many people in Colorado, and all of them have loved it.
